Sylvia Lanier

Sylvia resides in Raleigh, NC and graduated with a degree in Human Ecology from Hampton. Currently retired, she has over 25 years of experience in Television Broadcast Sales and Marketing. Sylvia is the proud mother of one son who is also a Hampton graduate. Currently, she serves as the Director of "The Shoppe at Wake Chapel Church," a unique venue dedicated to offering exclusive faith-based merchandise to church members and others. Sylvia is passionate about giving back to the community and engages in activities such as youth business development to help drive economic development and support future entrepreneurs. She enjoys traveling, watching sports (Go Pirates!), hanging out with family and friends, and connecting with classmates at Homecoming and other events. Additionally, Sylvia enjoys working alongside and collaborating with others, and she takes pleasure in designing and implementing fundraising projects.
